WireSight

Privacy Policy

Effective October 21, 2026

WireSight is an iPhone and iPad app made by Ayodele Henderson ("we"). This policy explains what the app does with your information. The short version: WireSight does not collect your data. Your scans stay on your device.

What stays on your device

We do not have servers that receive this information, and we can't see it.

Camera and LiDAR

WireSight uses your camera and LiDAR scanner, with your permission, to measure rooms and place tags. Camera images are processed on your device while you scan and are not saved as photos or sent anywhere. The app may briefly read the camera picture to estimate an appliance's color (white, black or stainless). That also happens only on your device.

What we don't do

When you share

If you choose Save to Phone or share a scan (a floor plan picture, a 3D model file or a backup file), the file goes only where you send it, such as Files, Messages or email. Those services handle it under their own privacy policies.

Purchases

If WireSight offers paid features, purchases are handled by Apple through the App Store. We receive no payment card details. See Apple's privacy policy for how Apple handles purchases.

Crash reports

If you have turned on sharing with app developers in your iPhone's settings, Apple may give us anonymous crash and usage reports. These don't identify you. You can turn this off in Settings > Privacy & Security > Analytics & Improvements.

Children

WireSight is a tool for adults working on homes and buildings. It is not directed at children under 13, and it collects no information from anyone.

Deleting your data

Delete a scan by swiping it in Saved Scans, or delete the app to remove everything it saved.

Changes

If this policy changes, the new version will be posted on this page with a new date.
